If there were no consequences why would people that suffer from
addiction ever stop drinking, drugging or purging?
Consequences are guaranteed it is only matter of what the consequences will be and when they will happen.
That is why Extended Care was created.
It is our goal to help people understand what they and their family and friends are up against.
We wish the whole process could be obtained in 28 Days.
That is not our experience in most cases.
Self-esteem is obtained by doing esteem-able acts.
In the first 28 days many people are just getting physical sobriety.
The majority of the programs we refer to offer a combination of Clinical help as well a equal or greater amount of help getting a solid foundation in the 12 step process, and their community.
Our goal is to not only help people get clean and sober, our goal is to get them to a point in their sobriety so that when they leave treatment, they will have a complete understanding and confidence of what it will take each day to achieve years of sobriety.
Before extended care programs people would get clean and sober and then after 28 days they would either have to get their own experience. Or join a temporary after care program.
Or people could get active and connected in a 12 step community.
12 Step programs are fondly referred to as the after care for a life time.
It is simple but not easy for people to get connected.

Most good extended care programs will expedite the learning process and in turn improve their clients odds of securing long term sobriety and securing short term safety by arresting their disease..
Our hopes are to offer a solution to people and their families so that the one who is addicted can make it through the certain trials and low spots in the future.
Just because we get sober does not mean problems stop happening and without a defense people will relapse.
Consequences are to high after relapses. Extended care was designed to dramatically improve the odds of people getting through that very difficult first year without severe or permanent repercussions.
Because of poor judgment or the lack of a defense, We hear about dramatic instances regularly in newspapers, on the Internet and on TV many of us can relate from our own lives and network of friends.
