Invest in Futures
Parents and Loved ones are learning that when it comes to treatment. It is better to keep a business approach.
Because personal emotions when trying to help are hurting people psychically and financially.
If nothing changes then nothing changes.
People are getting smarter.
When investing in treatment.
They understand that what is less money.
In the long run is not always the most cost effective.
Once you add in that you are dealing with peoples lives, freedom and futures.
People are doing their homework.
People are starting to get used to saying 1 year.
A solid foundation in recovery takes about 1 year.
By putting your emotions aside and by treating treatment like a investment and listening to the professionals advice and standing firm and committing to the length of time it takes for someone to detox then heal mentally and psychically and develop new healthy routines and life skills and acquire a support network and then start school or work and prepare for the transition into the real world. Will take time.
The process is fairly simple but not easy.
Half measures in business or any life situation seldom ends well.
Treatment is expensive, though for obvious reasons it may be the most important investment you or a family ever makes.
When dealing with the recovery process with emotions people often end up co-signing negative or delusional thoughts and behaviors and it only prolongs the process. With consequences being so high nowadays it is very a dangerous way to try to be helpful for everyone.
People end up throwing money at the problem.... When it is time to invest in a solution.
Recovery is not an exact science, there are ways to increase the odds for success though.
The first year in recovery is so fragile for everybody.
What time frame do you think would increase the odds for people changing life long habits and thought patterns and developing new ones, then acquire a new support network, either get enrolled in school and or start working and have this all be a working part of the mind once they left treatment.(This is a fraction of what really gets dealt with and processed.)
Our experience is that 6-12 months is the amount of time in a structured step down extended program that would help secure the foundation of your investment.
Extended Care is the wave of the future.
